Sandy McIver

Sandy McIver has been Mace Programme Director of the Keflavik Airport Major Development Programme since March 2020.

He was a member of the Heathrow Terminal 5 building’s team Executive Team, responsible for delivering £1.7bn worth of construction works. It was the largest construction project in Europe at the time and is recognized as a model construction project, which set new, higher standards for the industry around the world. As Programme Leader, Sandy delivered the scope within his remit to budget and within the overall schedule.

With 38 years’ experience as a Client, Consultant and Contractor in the formation, procurement and delivery of aviation projects, Sandy has an outstanding record of successfully completing complex infrastructure projects in a live operational environment.
