IMaR 2024
The IMaR conference is the first conference on Innovation, Megaprojects, and Risk in Iceland and is co-hosted by the Center of Risk and Decision Analysis (CORDA) and the Master of Project Management Programme (MPM) at Reykjavik University and the Association of Chartered Engineers in Iceland (VFÍ).
On IMaR you will enjoy lectures from prolific scientists and thinkers on ideas, results and visions that shape the future of our world.
The keynote speaker of IMaR 2024 is Dan Gardner an exceptionally brilliant author that speaks directly into the world of business and engineering. Gardner is a New York Times best selling author and his latest book, How Big Things Get Done, was recently shortlisted for the Financial Times’s Business Book of The Year. Dan Gardner has won or been nominated for every major award in Canadian newspaper journalism (including the Michener, the NNA, and the CAJ Award) along with awards from Amnesty International Canada, the John Howard Society, the Department of Justice, and other organizations. Gardner's work also contributed to significant changes in Canadian public policy.
IMaR will be followed by “The Day of Engineering” which object is to introduce the wonderful and multifaceted world of engineering and to enhance networking and cohesion among Icelandic engineers.
