Dr. Þórður Víkingur Friðgeirsson

Dr Thordur Vikingur Fridgeirsson is a well-known person in the Icelandic academic and industrial/business sectors. Originally a senior manager and management consultant and later assistant professor at Reykjavik University (School of Engineering). At Reykjavik University he founded the research hub CORDA (Center of Risk and Decision Analysis). This active research hub is a melt pot of theories from engineering science and social science.  The main research and teaching work is on public projects addressing project management and risk assessment in context of human behaviour. Thordur Vikingur has written three popular textbooks on management and more than 300 published articles and peer reviewed papers.
