Dr. Martina Huemann

Martina Huemann is Professor at the WU Vienna University of Economics and Business where she heads the Project Management Group in the Department Strategy and Innovation and is the Academic Director of the Professional MBA Program: Project Management. She has published widely in Project Management. For her research on Human Resource Management in Project-oriented Organizations, she received the IPMA Research Award 2015. Since 2018 she has been Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Project Management, the leading journal in project management, and since 2020 she has been Founding Editor-in-Chief of the sister journal Project Leadership and Society. Martina Huemann has more than 20 years of experience in research, teaching and consulting and strongly believes in co-creation processes between practice and academia.
