Jóhanna Hlín Auðunsdóttir
Jóhanna Hlín Auðunsdóttir is the Director of Climate and Green Solutions at Landsvirkjun, the National Power Company of Iceland, a Sustainability Engineer (MSc) from Heriot-Watt University in Scotland and a Chevening Alumni. She holds a BSc in Civil- and Environmental Engineering from the University of Iceland.
Jóhanna is an expert when it comes to environmental management, corporate climate action and disclosure and sustainability issues and opportunities related to renewable energy. She manages a diverse team of environmental specialists who oversee the Landsvirkjun’s environmental- and climate strategy, management, and performance. This includes i.e., leading Landsvirkjun’s climate action, managing the impacts caused by the company’s energy generation and taking part in the development and construction of new power projects as well as supporting other departments across the company regarding diverse environmentally related topics.
Jóhanna is a member of the UN Global Compact Leadership Council in Iceland and a former FEL 100 member of the World Energy Council.
