Dr. Andreas Wald

Andreas Wald is Professor of Strategy at the School of Business and Law of the University of Agder.

He gained a Master’s degree in Political Science and Business Administration at the University of Mannheim (Germany). He completed his doctorate at the University of Mannheim, and followed up with a Habilitation (venia legendi) in Business Administration at the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in Wiesbaden (Germany).

His research activities are focused on temporary organizations, entrepreneurship, management control, and innovation.

Wald has authored and coauthored several books and edited volumes. His research is published in a large number of articles in internationally acclaimed journals. He is a widely used speaker at international conferences and seminars.

Wald is a former Assistant Professor and Director of Studies at EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, and Dean of Research and Professor of Strategy at the European Business School Paris (France).

At the University of Agder, Wald teaches strategy and international management at the graduate and undergraduate level.
